  • Unregistering due date: Friday, 19 September.
  • Holiday: Saturday, 01 November.
  • End of the course: Saturday, 20 December.
  • Dates of issue of academic records (for free): from 12 to 16 January 2026.
  • Winter holidays: from 21 December to 06 January.


ASSESSMENT


  • The final grade will be the average of two midterm exams:
    • 1st midterm exam (Units 1 to 3A): Saturday, 18 October.
    • 2nd midterm exam (Units 3B to 5D): Saturday, 13 December.
  • Passing grade: 8.0 points.
  • 80% of attendance is required to sit exams.
  • 5 consecutive absences cause dropping out.

CLASS RULES

  • You must attend the class with your coursebook.
  • Your material has to be original.
  • You have to join our class on the Cambridge One platform after activating the code included in your Student's Book. Our Class Key is wr3k-xWAa and the name of our class is CELe B2-1 Gpo 17 (2025B).
  • Punctuality is really important. If you are late and there's already an activity in progress, you will have to wait for it to finish and take part in the next one.
  • Use of English in class is essential. Try not to speak in Spanish. Interact with the teacher and your classmates in English as much as possible. 
  • Please avoid instant messaging during our class.
  • Please, don't use translators or AI apps, use dictionaries instead.

OTHER ASPECTS

  • A monolingual dictionary is recommended in class and for homework.
  • The use of the digital resources of the Cambridge One platform will be part of your continuous assessment activities.
  • You can always hand in late activities and/or projects, however, they will be marked out of 80 points instead of 100 points.
